Fully aluminum frame
The De Caractère collection draws its strength from the frame. All parts of the frame are made of aluminum, including the inner structure and the opening system.

Sunbrella® PLUS Marine
All fabrics for the Caractère outdoor parasol canopies are made from solution-dyed acrylic yarns from the Sunbrella® PLUS Marine collection.
Performance
The yarns are made from solution-dyed acrylic. This means the color runs completely through the yarn. The color is added to the liquid solution from which the yarn is extruded. Only solution-dyed fabrics retain their color and resist fading caused by UV exposure in sunlight.
Stain-resistant and waterproof
All fabrics have a surface finish that makes the fabric water- and stain-repellent. A coating on the back makes the fabric waterproof, mold-resistant, and minimizes drying time.
Steel base
All bases from the Caractère collection are designed and made in Belgium. They are made from thermally galvanized steel plates with a thickness of 15 mm. The base has four elegant wheels that can rotate 360°, each with a brake to keep the umbrella in place. The wheels are already mounted on the base.
